With a unique blend of photos, videos, illustrations and writings, Garance Doré has established a distinctive point of view and close relationship with her readers through her blog, garancedore.fr.
Creative and extremely funny, Garance's stance on fashion is always acute and entertaining. Her relaxed eloquence has gained her millions of followers (and dare we say fans?) from around the globe, including both the fashion elite and aspirational fashion lovers.
Garance started as an illustrator, following in the footsteps of her idols René Gruau and Antonio Lopez with timeless, classic and beautiful illustration.
Her illustration talent has allowed her to collaborate with brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton, Céline, Kate Spade, Chloé, Tiffany & Co., Chopard, Macy's, Reed Krakoff and Kering (formerly PPR). She did a special illustrated cover for Elle UK and her illustrations appear every month in her Paris Vogue column.
The collection produced by Rifle Paper Co. features Garance's signature illustrations and style across a variety of formats including cards, phone cases, calendars, notepads, social stationery, and notebooks. All paper products are made in the USA.
She has exhibited her work in New York, London and Sydney.
In June 2012, she was honored to receive the CFDA Eugenia Sheppard Media Award alongside photographer Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist.
Originally from Corsica, Garance now resides in New York City.
